Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and document the end-to-end system architecture for the 2026 fleet management platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of legacy telemetry systems with next-generation AI-driven control modules.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the R&D department to translate theoretical propulsion concepts into viable software and hardware specifications.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior architects and engineers, conducting code reviews, architectural reviews, and technical training sessions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current infrastructure and implement optimizations to ensure zero-latency command transmission.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership to secure buy-in for major architectural changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and distributed systems design. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical problems under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical strategies clearly to diverse audiences.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments, with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines.
