Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum-Enhanced Solutions: Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that solve complex optimization problems beyond the reach of classical computing.
- System Integration & Deployment: Oversee the integration of quantum processors with cloud-based AI infrastructure, ensuring seamless scalability and reliability.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a high-performance research team to develop error mitigation techniques and improve coherence times in NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Model Optimization: Translate theoretical quantum models into practical software solutions, optimizing code execution for specialized hardware.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical roadmap for our quantum AI initiatives, identifying emerging technologies and competitive advantages.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to translate technical concepts into business value.
Qualifications
- Advanced Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced AI/ML research.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and quantum SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Machine Learning Mastery: Strong background in classical machine learning algorithms and neural network architectures.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Proven track record of deploying and managing scalable systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguity and derive innovative solutions to unstructured technical challenges.
