Responsibilities
- Design and architect advanced quantum algorithms tailored for machine learning and optimization tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum modules into existing AI infrastructures.
- Conduct research into emerging quantum hardware and software frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists in quantum computing principles.
- Define technical roadmaps for the company's quantum AI initiatives.
- Optimize quantum circuits to maximize qubit utilization and reduce error rates.
- Present complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML or high-performance computing.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks and libraries.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable.
