- Coordinate with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps with business objectives
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry white papers
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like scenario planning and Delphi analysis
- Secure partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global policy institutes for research collaboration
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Published research in top-tier journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and data visualization tools
- Experience securing $1M+ research grants from NSF, DARPA, or equivalent bodies
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech trajectories
