Responsibilities
- Execute artisanal coffee preparation using advanced methods (pour-over, AeroPress, siphon)
- Train and mentor junior baristas on service excellence and product knowledge
- Develop seasonal specialty menus featuring local Hawaiian ingredients
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance for premium coffee products
- Build rapport with high-end clientele through personalized service
- Collaborate with roasting team on cupping and quality control
- Implement sustainable practices in daily operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in specialty coffee with advanced certification (e.g., SCA Espresso, Brewing)
- Expert-level latte art and beverage presentation skills
- Proven ability to train staff on coffee techniques and customer service
- Knowledge of Hawaiian coffee varietals and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Strong inventory management and POS proficiency
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
