Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve: Expertly prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, and tea, following our strict quality standards.
- Customer Experience: Provide a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer, engaging in friendly conversation and anticipating needs.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including espresso machines, grinders, and seating areas.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies, and assist in inventory counts as required.
- Upselling: Educate customers on our menu offerings and skillfully suggest add-ons or merchandise to enhance their experience.
- Team Collaboration: Support fellow baristas during peak hours and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional barista experience in a high-volume coffee shop.
- Skills: Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of coffee bean origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Availability: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
