Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal specials, according to exact recipes.
- Operate espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment with precision and speed during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to take orders, answer questions, and resolve complaints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash management, inventory counts, and equipment maintenance.
- Upsell products and promote loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience.
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques and company standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso extraction, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
