Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, friendly service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings
- Accurately process orders, payments, and handle cash register transactions
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality presentation
- Manage table sections efficiently, including bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and promotional offerings to enhance guest experience and check averages
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with professionalism and positive attitude
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in full-service restaurant or high-volume dining environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- TAMSA or TABC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
