We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Server to join our award-winning team. As a server at The Gilded Fork, you will be the face of our brand. We pride ourselves on our modern, high-conversion service style and our commitment to guest satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional welcome, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and specials to guide guest choices.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables with precision, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any requests or concerns to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Immediate availability to start working within the next 7-14 days.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Micros, Aloha, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of standard wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is highly desirable.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
