Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant ML pipelines and infrastructure for Project 2026, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize large-scale models for production environments, focusing on inference speed and resource efficiency.
- Research Implementation: Translate academic research into production-ready code, experimenting with novel architectures and training methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product managers and data scientists to define technical requirements and roadmaps for future AI capabilities.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Establish coding standards and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols and ensure all AI models adhere to ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with distributed training frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of NLP, Transformer architectures, and LLM fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent is a plus.
