Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant systems for our 2026 product roadmap, focusing on advanced AI integration.
- Research & Development: Collaborate with our R&D team to prototype and deploy cutting-edge Machine Learning models, including LLMs and reinforcement learning agents.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize existing codebases and data pipelines to reduce latency and improve inference speed for real-time applications.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of 5+ junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical training sessions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to align technical strategy with business goals.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure all AI systems comply with federal and state data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- AI Expertise: Strong understanding of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in dynamic environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
