Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum computing hardware architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities
- Develop cryogenic control systems and quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows for high-performance computing environments
- Lead integration of photonic interconnects for quantum network scalability
- Implement security protocols for quantum-safe communications infrastructure
- Collaborate with research teams to translate theoretical models into deployable systems
- Document quantum system specifications and create implementation roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in quantum networking protocols (QKD, teleportation)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and distributed systems
- Familiarity with quantum software development frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Security clearance for handling classified quantum technology projects
