Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and optimization
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems and error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum computing solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals like Nature Quantum
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies and frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum physics
- Present research at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (Master's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and circuit design
- Proven track record of published quantum research in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
