Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era computational challenges
- Design and optimize quantum circuits on superconducting hardware
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence limitations
- Develop error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
