Responsibilities
- Architect next-generation quantum error correction protocols for 50+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks for drug discovery acceleration
- Lead open-source quantum algorithm libraries (Qiskit/Cirq) contributions
- Collaborate with NASA/JPL on quantum-resistant cryptography standards
- Present quarterly breakthroughs to Quantum Computing Consortium
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Q# and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Demonstrated experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum/Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in condensed matter physics or quantum information theory
- Patents or peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing required
