Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software development
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Conduct experimental validation using quantum hardware simulators
- Author patents and peer-reviewed publications on quantum advancements
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-safe encryption standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical audiences
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
