Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and AI optimization
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish 3+ top-tier papers annually
- Drive commercialization of quantum applications with enterprise clients
- Shape the lab's 2026 quantum roadmap in alignment with global tech standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing research
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and topological qubit systems
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Patents in quantum hardware or software systems preferred
