Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits
- Design hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Create migration strategies for classical to quantum data processing pipelines
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Patent breakthrough quantum algorithms with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum gate design and circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum theory into scalable implementations
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
