Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development teams solving optimization and simulation challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and error correction systems
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption frameworks
- Research emerging quantum technologies and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices in quantum software development
- Partner with industry leaders to define quantum computing roadmaps for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
