Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve intractable computational problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocols and qubit stabilization techniques
- Create roadmaps for quantum hardware integration with classical HPC systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Present quantum computing breakthroughs to industry consortiums and investors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum assembly languages (QASM, OpenQASM)
- Proficiency with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated experience building scalable quantum systems with >100 qubits
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business value propositions
