Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons with a warm smile, escort them to their tables, and provide menus while explaining daily specials.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Service Excellence: Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high aesthetic standards.
- Customer Relations: Anticipate guest needs, handle complaints with grace and professionalism, and ensure a positive dining atmosphere.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately via cash, card, or mobile apps and maintain proper tip reporting.
- Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean, organized, and stocked with condiments and napkins throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond to guest requests.
- Attitude: A positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude is essential.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
