Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about menu items, and make informed recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders via POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Deliver exceptional service by checking on guests regularly, refilling drinks, and anticipating needs.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed securely.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including polishing glassware and setting tables to our high standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Toast, Micros, OpenTable).
- Friendly demeanor with a 'can-do' attitude and a focus on teamwork.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
