Responsibilities
- Provide warm, welcoming, and professional service to every guest, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Master and utilize our POS system (Toast or similar) accurately to process orders, take payments, and handle guest inquiries efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes and drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including setting tables and bussing stations to brand standards.
- Upsell menu items and specials confidently to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with grace and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional serving experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and food pairings (preferred but not required).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business volume.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Food Handler’s Card (if required by state law).
