Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional greetings and seating of guests upon arrival.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and transmit them to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and organized manner, ensuring proper plating and presentation standards.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods with confidence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, resetting tables efficiently between service.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Upsell specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations (SOPA certified or willing to obtain).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the dining room for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
