Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome customers warmly, manage seating arrangements, and provide a superior first impression.
- Menu Mastery: Present menus, answer detailed questions about ingredients and preparation, and make personalized recommendations.
- Order Accuracy: Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
- Service Excellence: Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Upselling: Knowledgeably suggest appetizers, desserts, or specialty cocktails to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining area, tables, and service station throughout your shift.
- Payment Handling: Process all payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital wallets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous server experience in a fine dining or upscale establishment is preferred but not mandatory for the right attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a high-performance kitchen and FOH team.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately.
