Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Service guests throughout the meal, ensuring all needs are met promptly.
- Handle payment transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional server experience in a fine dining or upscale setting preferred.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Food Handler's and TIPS certification.
