Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to ensure optimal flow and guest satisfaction.
- Present menus with detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver orders with precision, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are upheld.
- Handle payments accurately, process returns or complaints professionally, and maintain the integrity of the till.
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, and restrooms throughout the shift to maintain a pristine environment.
- Upsell products and beverages to enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, waitress, or waiter is preferred but not mandatory (comprehensive training provided).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one immediately.
