Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to make recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables quickly between service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any needs or concerns immediately.
- Process payments accurately and securely using the POS system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash, tips, and credit transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
