Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome immediately upon arrival.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Upsell menu items and handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables between services.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
