Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks with precision, checking back to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables between seatings.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, cooks, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, hostess, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
