Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Provide a warm welcome to patrons and manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Order Accuracy: Take detailed food and beverage orders using POS systems and communicate them accurately to the kitchen and bar.
- Upselling: Knowledgeably suggest appetizers, entrees, and signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Service Delivery: Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Payment Processing: Process transactions swiftly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Guest Relations: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Table Maintenance: Keep dining areas clean and organized throughout your shift, resetting tables for the next guests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet business demands.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and dependability in previous roles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Food Handler: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Texas Food Handler Card.
