Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
- Present menus and guide customers through the dining experience with expertise.
- Take and transmit accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen promptly.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks according to established standards.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently and process payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and adhere to strict hygiene protocols.
- Build relationships with regular patrons to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Food Handler’s permit and alcohol awareness certification.
- Proficiency in POS systems and computer literacy.
