In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels valued and well-cared for.
Responsibilities
- Greet & Seat: Welcome guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Menu Knowledge: Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, ingredients, and preparation to assist guests in making selections.
- Service: Deliver orders promptly, ensure proper plating, and refill drinks as needed throughout the meal.
- Customer Relations: Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve any issues with a smile.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining area, including wiping tables, cleaning chairs, and resetting stations for the next service.
- POS Management: Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (typically 4-6 hour shifts).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support our busy service hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant location.
