Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Provide expert knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating needs and resolving any issues with grace and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and securely using the POS system.
- Collaborate with the culinary and front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.
- A valid Food Handler's card or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
