Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed immediately.
- Present menus and expertly explain daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our state-of-the-art POS systems.
- Deliver orders efficiently to the correct tables and ensure all items meet our high-quality standards.
- Upsell wine, cocktails, and appetizers to enhance the guest's dining experience while adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle payments, process tips accurately, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room throughout the shift.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Alcohol Service Certification (TABC) is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.
