Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, describe specials, and answer questions regarding ingredients and preparation.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner and ensure presentation standards are met.
- Check on guests periodically to address any needs or concerns during their meal.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a server, waiter, or waitress is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to serve.
- Alcohol awareness certification (TABC) is a plus.
