Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Process orders accurately through POS systems while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food delivery and special requests
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout dining areas
- Upsell seasonal specials and high-margin items to maximize table revenue
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solution-oriented approach
- Participate in opening/closing duties and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 25 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency (Toast/Revel experience preferred)
- Valid Maryland food handler permit
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
