Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service for 4-6 tables simultaneously
- Expertly explain seasonal menu offerings and wine pairings
- Process payments accurately using POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
- Maintain pristine table settings and dining area cleanliness
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues diplomatically
- Contribute to opening/closing duties including restocking stations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- Knowledge of California alcohol service laws (RBS certification)
- Ability to multitask during peak service hours
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency (Toast, Square, or similar)
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for 6+ hour shifts
- Food Handler's Certificate required
