Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, efficient table service including order taking, food delivery, and beverage service
- Master menu knowledge including allergens, preparation methods, and wine pairings
- Process payments accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation
- Reset and maintain clean, well-stocked dining areas and service stations
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily cleaning routines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional restaurant server experience
- Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems (Toast/Revel preferred)
- Availability to work evenings (4-11 PM) and weekends
- Basic wine/beer knowledge and TIPS certification a plus
- Positive attitude with genuine passion for hospitality
