Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.
- Operate POS systems efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and balance the drawer at the end of the shift.
- Stock inventory and perform basic maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and foster a sense of community within the shop.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and specialty drinks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
