Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, mobility, and nutrition
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and treatment protocols
- Respond to patient calls and alarms promptly according to facility guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Assist with emergency procedures and crisis interventions
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
