Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
- Manage patient documentation in electronic health records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Coordinate lab orders and specimen collection
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Basic EKG and phlebotomy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Evening availability (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Tennessee BLS certification required
