Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and documentation during evening hours
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Assist medical providers with clinical procedures and equipment preparation
- Handle patient inquiries via phone and secure messaging systems
- Perform basic vitals monitoring and specimen collection protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory control for night shift operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless 24/7 care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare administration or clinical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently during low-supervision night shifts
- Strong communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and emergency situations
