Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and uptime during off-peak hours to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Resolve incoming technical support tickets via phone and email with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, patch updates, and security audits.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software for remote clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in IT support or help desk roles is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
