As a key member of our Future Horizons division, you'll leverage predictive analytics, scenario planning, and stakeholder engagement to decode signals from quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology, and sustainable infrastructure. Your insights will directly influence product development, policy frameworks, and investment strategies for Fortune 500 partners.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and societal patterns to create 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive briefings for investment committees
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Represent Horizon Labs at international tech foresight conferences and summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendmapper, Palisade DecisionTools)
