Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints to prototype next-gen AI systems with ethical frameworks
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (e.g., metamaterials, decentralized AI)
- Collaborate with policy teams shaping regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and venture capital partners securing $50M+ in funding
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping of futuristic consumer and enterprise solutions
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 5+ years R&D strategy experience
- Proven track record in launching at least two emerging technology products (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on disruptive technologies
- Strong network within DARPA, NASA, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants for experimental tech projects
