Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Identify and validate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through rigorous market analysis and academic partnerships
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop frameworks for ethical implementation of next-gen technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish KPIs for innovation adoption and ROI tracking across technology verticals
- Build and lead a global network of futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing P&L for R&D initiatives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy) and innovation methodologies
