Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmap integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen product development
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks for future innovations
- Partner with VCs and startups to identify acquisition opportunities
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 5+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural network architectures, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
