- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps incorporating emerging trends like quantum computing, advanced AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to evaluate and prototype next-generation technologies with potential market impact
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to secure innovation pipelines
- Present technology forecasts and adoption strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology ROI and competitive advantage
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, R&D sprints, and knowledge-sharing forums
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory factors affecting technology adoption in 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies generating $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, advanced AI systems, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption scenarios
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful transformation of R&D concepts to market solutions
