Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment)
- Develop patentable solutions for climate modeling, personalized medicine, and sustainable energy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of physicists, biologists, and AI specialists
- Present findings at global tech forums and publish in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and partnerships with DARPA/NIH
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead innovation workshops for Fortune 500 executives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or related field
- 5+ years in R&D with proven track record of published breakthroughs
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum algorithms, neural networks, CRISPR)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and cloud-based AI platforms
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and manage multi-year projects
- Published in peer-reviewed journals or holds 10+ technology patents
